Terms & Conditions

Your travel arrangements have been made by Sun N Fun Holidays (“we” or “us”) under the following terms and conditions. The provided tickets (“vouchers”) have been booked on your behalf with various third-party service providers.

Each Service Provider may have their own terms & conditions applying to your travel.

It is your responsibility to understand the fare rules for each booking and the terms and conditions of individual suppliers. If you need more information beyond what is provided on your travel voucher or brochure, we recommend contacting the Service Provider directly for clarification.

You acknowledge that Sun N Fun Holidays operates as an intermediary travel agency. When you purchase travel-related services through Sun N Fun Holidays, Sun N Fun Holidays earns a commission from the third-party suppliers providing those services.
Third-party booking software provider

Sun N Fun Holidays utilizes a third-party wholesale platform to book services with each provider. All prices are dynamic and determined by the supplier, subject to change at their discretion at any time.
(1) BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS: Your responsibilities

For trips with booked dates:
It is your responsibility to verify that the dates on your vouchers match your itinerary, including any Greyhound passes, campervans, and bed nights. You must reconfirm all booked dates at least 48 hours before travel (or as specified on your voucher). If applicable, confirm any dietary requirements at this time. It is your responsibility to ensure you use your tickets on the booked dates.

Open Dated Tickets: It is your responsibility to book your preferred travel date in advance with each Service Provider, as outlined on your voucher. Please ensure you make these bookings in advance, particularly for Greyhound buses. Be aware that open-dated tickets are subject to price fluctuations by the supplier, which may result in additional charges.
(2) DATE CHANGES:

Due to various factors, prices for tours, transport, and accommodation are subject to change. If you choose to modify your booked dates, additional supplier fees may apply. To change the dates of your tours, transport, or accommodation, you must make arrangements directly with the Service Provider or contact sales@sunnfunhoilidays.com.au with sufficient notice.

If you or the service provider requires us to change your dates, an administrative fee will be applied to each booking.
(3) DEPOSITS:

Deposits or partial payments made to Sun N Fun Holidays for tours, accommodation, transport, and travel itineraries are non-refundable and non-transferable if you are unable to proceed with your booking. Additionally, Sun N Fun Holidays charges a 1.6% card fee for payments made via card machine and a 2% fee for payments made through a payment link, both of which are non-refundable.
(4) CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS:

Fees paid to Sun N Fun Holidays for card fees, deposits, bus tickets and luggage storage are non-refundable or transferable.

If you choose to cancel your activities or accommodation for any reason, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

In addition to Sun N Fun Holidays’ cancellation fee, you may also be responsible for any cancellation fees imposed by the service provider, according to their terms and conditions.

As a result, your cancellation fees could be as high as 100% of the booking cost (for example, cancellations made within 24 hours of travel).

The Cancellation Fee will apply in all cases where a tour is able to run.

Some examples include, but not limited to;
  • Change of mind.• You have decided not to proceed with your booked travel.
  • A family member is unwell and you need to fly home / end your travel.
  • If you are unable to reach a tour due to an “act of God” (for example a road is cut off due to flooding)
  • Your bus breaks down and you miss your planned departure.
  • You overslept and missed your tours start time or pick up time.
  • You misread the information of the tours pick up, start point, or start time.
  • You are unwell and are unable to make your tour.

    In situations beyond your control, we recommend obtaining suitable travel and/or cancellation insurance. You may want to contact your insurance provider to file a claim for any non-refundable tours due to cancellation fees imposed by the agent (Sun N Fun Holidays) or the supplier (service provider).

    If a tour or other travel service is cancelled by the Service Provider, we will first attempt to rebook you at no additional charge. If rebooking is not possible, we will refund the amount you paid for the tour or service, minus any supplier charges. This full refund is contingent upon receiving a fully refundable amount from the supplier responsible for the cancellation.

    While we strive to process refunds promptly, certain situations (such as natural disasters) may lead to processing times of up to 90 days due to high volume. Refunds will be issued to the same valid Visa or Mastercard used for the original booking.

    If your original payment to us was made in cash then your refund must be issued to an open bank account held in your name. We do not refund in cash.

  • (5) PRICES:

    We strive to offer the best value tours at the most competitive prices. However, we are not responsible for price fluctuations due to changes in the prices set by Service Providers before final payment. Therefore, the price of your travel may change until full payment is made.
    (6) DIVE ACTIVITIES:

    (6.a ) When booking any Scuba Diving activities, you must inform us if you have a history of or currently suffer from any medical conditions, including but not limited to: asthma, wheezing, persistent chest pain, chronic sinus issues, chest surgery, high blood pressure, ear surgery, epilepsy, chronic bronchitis, collapsed lung, diabetes mellitus (sugar), fainting, seizures or blackouts, or lung disease.

    (6.b) By booking with us, you agree to our terms and conditions and confirm that you are not currently taking any prescribed medication or drugs (excluding oral contraceptives), are not pregnant, and will not be flying within 24 hours of completing your dive. If you are denied participation in any Scuba Diving activity due to a pre-existing medical condition, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. If you are unsure whether you need to declare a medical condition, it is your responsibility to inform Sun N Fun Holidays before making your booking.
    (7) SERVICE PROVIDERS:

    We strive to offer tours that meet your expectations. However, we are not responsible for any issues that may arise in relation to or during individual tours or arrangements with Service Providers. We value your feedback, whether it be complaints, compliments, or suggestions. However, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, expense, or damage you may incur during any tour, accommodation, or travel, regardless of the cause. These matters are the responsibility of the individual Service Providers, and you agree not to hold us liable in such circumstances.
    (8) EXTRA COSTS:

    Many tours have additional costs, and you should be aware that extra expenses may apply. These charges vary by Service Provider and may include items such as EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fees, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, and petrol levy. Please confirm these details with each Service Provider when finalizing your booking.
    (9) PASSPORT, VISA, VACCINATION and IMMIGRATION:

    It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet all passport, visa, vaccination, and other immigration requirements for any transiting, stopover, or final destinations on your itinerary. We are not responsible if you are unable to travel due to non-compliance with these requirements. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date to your destination.
    (10) NATURAL DISASTERS, EPIDEMICS, PANDEMICS, AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS:

    In the highly unlikely event that your booking cannot be completed due to a natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic, or government-imposed travel restrictions, you will be entitled to a full refund minus a 20% administration fee (“admin fee”). This is in addition to any applicable supplier fees.
    IN SUMMARY:

    Please review these points carefully to ensure you fully understand them. We want you to be well-informed and have a fantastic experience. Please note that we charge a 50% cancellation fee, in addition to any supplier charges incurred for cancellations.

    We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travelers take out travel insurance.

    If you already have Travel Insurance please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your Travel Insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.

    Please understand that all deposit bookings made are non refundable. Please note that we do not offer cash refunds. If you have paid in cash, your refund will be processed to an open bank account in your name. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to: sales@sunnfunhoilidays.com.au.

    Please understand that if you cannot reach your tour and it still departs you will be unable to be refunded as the supplier will claim your ticket.

    You are aware that by paying for your tours & accommodation vouchers you are hereby accepting the terms and conditions as detailed by Sun N Fun Holidays.

    It is YOUR responsibility to inform us and the tour operators of any existing or past medical conditions, such as asthma, heart conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, etc. If you are denied participation in any activities due to a pre-existing medical condition and fail to disclose this at the time of booking, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

    All ticket/voucher reissues are subject to a $30 administration fee per item booked. Transfers between tours will also incur a $30 administration fee, and are subject to the supplier’s discretion.

    All quoted tours and accommodation are complete on your vouchers.

    At Sun N Fun Holidays, we take your privacy and the protection of your details seriously. However, your contact information may be shared with the Service Providers you have booked with, and you may receive additional information from Sun N Fun Holidays and our tax return partners.
